Freestyle & snowboarding around Saalbach
The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn offers the perfect conditions for freestylers and snowboarders. As well as varied deep-snow slopes, there are several snow parks catering for different levels.
The Freeride Park in Leogang offers a unique terrain that combines natural slopes with creative features. Beginners will find ideal conditions for their first tricks in the Learn-to-Ride Park on the Bernkogel in Saalbach, whilst the Family Park U-Bahn in Hinterglemm offers fun riding for young and old alike.
A highlight for experienced riders is the NITRO Snowpark Leogang with professionally shaped lines and versatile obstacles.

Ski touring in the Glemmtal valley
Away from the slopes, Saalbach Hinterglemm reveals its tranquil, majestic side. Ski tourers can look forward to sweeping slopes, sunny ascents and an alpine landscape that becomes more impressive with every metre gained.
The ascent takes place step by step through crisp winter air and a tranquil natural setting – accompanied only by the rhythm of your own movements in the snow. Once at the summit, a sweeping view opens up over the Glemm Valley and the surrounding Alps, before the descent through untouched snow provides the perfect finale.
The region offers touring opportunities for beginners as well as experienced ski mountaineers.
For the more ambitious, the ‘Mountain Attack’ is considered one of the most spectacular ski mountaineering races in the Alps – a night-time challenge across several peaks and thousands of metres of elevation gain.

Sledging fun day and night
Tobogganing around Saalbach Hinterglemm means winter fun for the whole family – whether in sunshine or under a starry sky. Thrilling natural toboggan runs, snow-covered winter landscapes and cosy moments in the huts make every run a special experience.
Just around 1.1 km away lies the Spielberghaus, which is easily accessible by snowcat. From there, a classic natural toboggan run begins, offering a charming atmosphere and a varied route.
A little further afield, the Reiterkogelbahn takes you comfortably to the start of a floodlit toboggan run, ensuring safe and atmospheric tobogganing fun even in the evening.
At the end of the valley, a particularly idyllic experience awaits you: the ascent can be made on foot or romantically by horse-drawn carriage, before you enjoy an atmospheric toboggan run through the winter landscape.
Winter fun on cross-country skis
Even away from the ski resort, Saalbach Hinterglemm offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiers looking to enjoy peace and nature. A particularly beautiful route is the Talschluss-Höhenloipe, which stretches for around 10 kilometres through snow-covered forests to the Lindlingalm.
This varied trail is suitable for both classic and skating techniques, combining exercise with impressive winter landscapes far away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes. The start is directly opposite the 12er Nordbahn and is easily accessible.
The night trail in Maishofen (approx. 25 km away) offers additional variety, providing a particularly atmospheric cross-country skiing experience under floodlights.
